How We Got Started
What began as a simple idea grew into something we're genuinely proud of.
The Beginning
We noticed something. Adults in their 40s, 50s, and 60s wanted to stay active but felt disconnected from typical gym culture. They wanted real movement outdoors — with people who understood where they were in life. That's what foxminster.org LLC set out to change.
Finding Our Focus
Power walking and Nordic walking aren't just exercise. They're low-impact, accessible, and genuinely enjoyable. We've built organized morning groups and park trail schedules because consistency matters. You can't build community without knowing when and where to show up.
Growing Together
We've added Nordic pole technique workshops because proper form prevents injury and makes the activity more effective. Then came our seasonal step-count challenges — not competitive in a stressful way, but motivating. People push themselves harder when they're part of something bigger.
